The Provincial Administration for Market Supervision organized food safety supervision and random inspection, and sampled 1135 batches of 24 major categories of food, including edible agricultural products, meat products, condiments, dairy products, vegetable products, fruit products, frozen drinks, soy products, bee products, alcohol, tea and related products, beverages, catering foods, infant formula foods, canned food, starch and starch products, aquatic products, quick-frozen foods, potatoes and puffed foods, candy products, biscuits, fried foods and nut products, egg products, convenience foods, etc.
36 batches of samples were detected as unqualified, and the main problems found were excessive residues of agricultural and veterinary drugs, illegal use of food additives, microbial contamination, heavy metal pollution, and non-compliance of quality indicators

For the unqualified food found in the sampling inspection, the Provincial Administration for Market Supervision has instructed the Market Supervision Administration of Zigong City, Panzhihua City, Luzhou City, Deyang City, Suining City, Neijiang City, Leshan City, Nanchong City, Yibin City, Guang'an City, Dazhou City, Ya'an City, Meishan City, Ziyang City, Aba Prefecture, Kardze Prefecture and Liangshan Prefecture to immediately organize verification and disposal, urge food production enterprises to clarify the flow of products, and take measures such as removing and recalling unqualified products to control risks; Violations of laws and regulations shall be dealt with strictly in accordance with law; Promptly disclose the risk prevention and control measures and verification and disposal measures adopted by enterprises to the public
.
