Classification of fungicides and algaecides
There are two main types of commonly used water treatment fungicides, namely, oxidizing fungicides and non-oxidizing fungicides
Oxidizing biocides are generally strong oxidants, which can oxidize some enzymes that are closely related to metabolism in microorganisms to kill microorganisms
The oxidizing biocides used in industrial circulating water mainly include: chlorine-based biocides, whose representative products include liquid gas, hypochlorite, chlorinated isocyanuric acid, etc.
There are many types of non-oxidizing biocides.
