at the pilot plant of the Central Research Institute of Power Investment in Beijing.
Under the condition of meeting the identification test parameters, the DN450 burst valve prototype opens quickly with a millisecond opening time, which meets the acceptance criteria
of the hot opening test.
At the same time, the test collected parameters such as the pressure in the valve to provide data
for the comparative study of burst valves.
It is reported that DN450 burst valve is currently the world's largest blast valve used in nuclear power projects, and the opening test is the last identification test
of DN450 blasting valve.
The success of the test means that CNNC has mastered the key technologies such as the design and manufacture of such valves, and has the ability
to independently design, manufacture and supply such burst valves.
