Recently, CNOOC issued an announcement on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that the company sold 67% of the equity of Amano Chemical on November 28, 2022 on the Beijing Stock Exchange, with a preliminary transaction floor price of about 207 million yuan
.

It is reported that Amano Chemical is mainly engaged in the production and sales
of fertilizers and methanol.
Amano Chemical has not been producing
urea and methanol since 2021 due to the lack of stable security of natural gas resources required for production and the improvement of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) management.
