The 2020 (10th) China Chemical Industry- University-Research Summit Forum was held last week in Guangrao County, Dongying City, Shandong Province.

Yan Liexiang, a professor at Wuhan University of Technology, said that at present, new-generation information technologies such as big data, Internet of Things, intelligent optimization, and visualization are increasingly serving process industries such as oil refining, chemical engineering, energy, materials, and pharmaceuticals.

Associate Professor Cui Peizhe of Qingdao University of Science and Technology proposed that chemical process enhancement technology is an effective means to achieve industrial clean production.
