Four measures to comprehensively control VOCs
As a key industry for the treatment of VOCs, Wen Qian, the professional deputy chief engineer of the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Planning Institute, suggested that the nitrogen fertilizer industry can start from four aspects to do a good job in comprehensive treatment of VOCs.
The first is to deepen the LDAR work, establish a ledger in strict accordance with the "Guidelines for Leak Detection and Repair of Petrochemical Enterprises", and carry out leak detection, repair, quality control, and record management.
The second is to strengthen equipment testing, including standby pumps, pumps in use, regulating valves, agitators, open pipelines and other testing work, strengthen quality control, and incorporate VOCs treatment facilities and sealing points of storage tanks into the testing plan.
The third is to strengthen the collection and treatment of VOCs in the circulating water system.
The fourth is to intensify the transformation of the waste water gathering and transportation system, and comprehensively strengthen the collection and treatment of high-concentration VOCs waste gas from the waste water system.
