    Pramod Agrawal, chairman of Coal India, recently said that India's coal production will exceed 650 million tonnes
    in fiscal year 2020-21.

    Coal India produced 405 million tonnes of coal in India for the third fiscal quarter ended 31 December 2020, of which Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL) from Orissa contributed 101.
