The 4 million tons/year indirect coal liquefaction demonstration project started construction on September 28, 2013 at the Ningdong Energy and Chemical Base.

　　The 4 million tons/year indirect coal liquefaction demonstration project is a coal-to-liquid industrialization demonstration project approved by the National Development and Reform Commission during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period.

　　"Coal-to-liquid technology has been monopolized by foreign countries for a long time.

　　The new and efficient high-temperature slurry-bed iron-based Fischer-Tropsch synthesis catalyst realizes the industrial production of 10,000-ton-class catalysts; the large-scale high-temperature slurry-bed Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reactor of 50 tons/year to 800,000 tons/year has made breakthroughs in major equipment and materials.
