    Scandinavian Spaceship
    . Kvistad
Kvistad, a Norwegian design studio, recently completed a major upgrade to Bakken and B?ck's headquarters office in Oslo.
many of the ideas for the design came from spaceships. All floors, walls and ceilings are painted in the same color, giving the impression that everything is made of the same material. Some rooms have carpeted floors that cover the walls and are suitable for zero-gravity environments. In order to achieve a weight-loss-like state, many details are supported by thin lines.

the colorful office of LH135, Spain,
    . MARIANO
Spanish design studio MARIANO has carefully restored the LH135 office in Madrid. In contrast to the fully remodeled space, the design philosophy behind the new intervention is to switch to the valuable elements of the original industrial design, while designing a range of elements with contemporary office environments.
existing industrial buildings are characterized by concrete structures with irregular columns and beams. MARIANO decided to restore these structural elements and remove the floating ceilings that were later added so that they could be exposed and create a relationship between old and new buildings. The design also highlights other original features, such as terred stone floor tiles, granite lobby and limestone facade.
decided which original elements to restore, the design team chose to use bright colors to activate the office space. The building's basement was painted bright pale yellow, and inspired by this, the designer decided to extend the use of this color to all floors. Starting in the underground car park, yellow invades all public and traffic areas, and only existing terrier floors stand out from the bold hues. From the building's front door to elevators, halls and stairs, users can use the same color until they reach one of the different offices.
the office is distinguished by the use of different shades when they reach different floors. Pink, orange, and white are applied to create a separate world and identity in each layer. The colors on the ceiling make the lamps and the surrounding white walls stand out. In addition, the rough gray texture of the exposed concrete columns and the pattern of the existing erythrite floor are further emphasized. Overall, MARIANO's design uses the best parts of the existing building and combines it with bright color applications to create interesting contemporary office spaces.
