The organic cinnamon processing plant in Lianfu Township, Wenpan County has a construction area of 29,000 square meters and a total investment of more than 45 billion VND (during 2021-2025).
The factory is equipped with modern technology production lines, with an annual output of 2000-3000 tons of fresh cinnamon bark.

After the completion of the factory, it will create employment opportunities for more than 250 employees in Wenpan County (most of them are local employees), increase income value for farmers, and promote the export of organic cinnamon to enter the European and American markets.

Since 2019, under the framework of the project “Promoting Gender Equality by Improving the Cinnamon Value Chain in Wenpan County, Lao Cai Province”, Vinasamex has supported 837 farmers here to establish raw material districts.
Organic cinnamon meets international standards and covers an area of 1,400 hectares in order to create a stable, high-quality raw material area for the factory to make it sustainable.

Vinasamex manager Nguyen Thi Xuan said that so far, Vinasamex is the only company in the cinnamon industry with as many as eight prestigious certificates.
This is the company’s "passport" for direct sales of organic cinnamon and anise products in supermarkets around the world; and It is welcomed by demanding markets such as Europe, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Canada.

Currently, the company exports about 1,000 tons of cinnamon every year on average, which is twice as valuable as it would when organic production processes were not used.
Vinasamex's goal is to stabilize and develop the cinnamon industry in Lao Cai to achieve sustainable development and high efficiency.
Increase the value of cinnamon products, create employment opportunities and higher income for locals.
