"Contactless Distribution" national standard is released and implemented

A few days ago, the National Standards for the "No-Contact Distribution Service Specifications for Commodities" jointly initiated by the China Business Federation and Meituan and other organizations and enterprises were issued and implemented, providing direction guidance and operational specifications for ensuring contactless distribution services during the epidemic prevention and control period

It is understood that the contactless delivery by Meituan Waimai was first launched nationwide on January 26, 2020

The "Specifications for Contactless Delivery of Commodities" is an upgraded version of Meituan's enterprise standards and the group standards issued by the Commercial Industry Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

It is reported that the Hunan Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, the Service Trade Branch of the China Standardization Association, the Beijing Food and Beverage Association, and multi-regional standardization research institutions across the country participated in the drafting of the standards

Zhang Lijun, vice president of the China Chamber of Commerce, said that this national standard can not only ensure the health and safety of delivery personnel and consumers during the epidemic prevention and control period, but also continue to be used in normal environments to regulate instant delivery service operations and meet consumer needs.

The relevant person in charge of Meituan Food Delivery said that this national standard will be strictly implemented, and multiple forces will be combined to ensure online supply to ensure the safety of the food delivery process
