Scientists β preparation of eloshi nanocapsules modified with acetic dextry, which are used to control the release of corrosion inhibitors in self-healing epoxy coatings.
effective β pH-cyclodext shell has been shown to control the release of inhibitors captured in the Elo stone channel. Considering the effect of the solution pH change on the release behavior of nanocapsules
.
self-healing
the capture of β-CD molecules was studied by quantum chemical calculations. Commercially available epoxy coatings in containers with various concentrations of benzodiaxene show self-healing effect after 42 hours of immersion of the released benzene and triamcinolone in a 0.5 M NaCl solution.
EIS results confirm that, unlike increasing impedance mods, containers with exact concentrations of benzodiaxazole have beneficial effects on the barrier properties of epoxy coatings.
the study was published in August 2020 in volume 145 of Organic Coatings Progress.
