　Oral leukoplakia refers to white lesions that occur in the oral mucosa, which cannot be wiped off and cannot be diagnosed as other definable damages.

Recently, the team of Professor Li Tiejun of Peking University Stomatological Hospital, Professor Huang Yanyi's team of Peking University Biomedical Frontier Innovation Center and Professor Wang Jianbin's team of Tsinghua University School of Life Sciences published in Science China Life Sciences entitled Improvement in the risk assessment of oral leukoplakia through morphology- Research paper on related copy number analysis (selected as cover article)

The study found that there are significant differences in genome copy number variation among different pathological grades of oral leukoplakia
