    The Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences announced on December 14.


    Based on the biomass synthesis route, the cooperative team developed a new method to synthesize the copolyester PCTA monomer using biomass-based platform compounds acrylate and acetaldehyde as raw materials


    In addition, the cooperative team also used the life cycle assessment (LCA) method to compare the biomass route in this work with the traditional petroleum route, showing that the biomass route exhibits positive carbon emission reduction capabilities
