According to a report by the Philippine Business Mirror on July 7, Del Monte Philippine Company's April fresh pineapple export revenue reached 5.
85 billion pesos, of which China is its main market

DMPI hopes to have more retail outlets in China's first-tier cities, and to further penetrate the second- and third-tier cities through new distributors.
The goal is to double its fresh pineapple retail distribution network from the current 15,000 stores by 2025
.

In a statement, DMPI cited analysis and consulting firm GlobalData as saying that DMPI was the largest exporter of fresh pineapples to China last year, with a market share of 53%.
It is also a major supplier to Japan and South Korea, each with a market share of 33%.
And 21%, mainly sold under the "S&W Sweet 16" brand
