There are generally many synthetic routes or methods for preparing a compound.

If the compound to be synthesized is an intermediate or starting material that is far away from the daily standard of the paper, it is not the focus of the paper.

If the synthesized compound is used as the target of the paper, in addition to papers that focus on commercial value, most academic papers do not necessarily focus on practicability and safety, but mainly on creativity, novelty, and timeliness

Although the design and practice of the synthetic route in the initial stage of the development of the New Testament are not necessarily done in accordance with the procedures of published papers, most of them are for the quick and hurry to synthesize a large number of monthly standard compounds, which often overlooks some safety issues

Most of the explorations and improvements of purely synthetic processes are of commercial nature, involve practicality, and pay attention to cost, simplicity and safety
