(4) Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS)
For the residual analysis of ASs, GC technology needs to be derivatized, and sample pretreatment is relatively troublesome; with the development of LC-MS technology, more and more researchers apply this technology to the residual analysis of ASs.
The sample generally does not need to be derivatized, and the analyte can be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively
.
LC-MS can use either electrospray ionization (ESI) or atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI), which has gradually become the main method for analyzing ASs residues
1) Electrospray ionization (ESI)
Huang Shixin and others analyzed testosterone propionate in pig urine by liquid chromatography-single quadrupole mass spectrometry (LC-MS)
.
The chromatographic column is a Waters Sunfire TM C 18 column, the mobile phase is acetonitrile- 0.
Huang Dongmei and others established an LC-MS/MS method for the detection of nandrolone phenylpropionate and nandrolone residues in aquatic products
.
The chromatographic column is a CAPCELL PAK C 18 column, the mobile phase is 0.
2) Atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI)
Kaklamanos et al.
established an LC-MS/MS method for detecting 20 ASs in muscles
.
After the sample was hydrolyzed, extracted with tert-butyl methyl ether, cleaned with n-hexane LLP, cleaned with HLB and amino SPE columns, it was detected by LC-MS/MS
Some HPLC or LC-MS residual detection methods of ASs in animal-derived matrices are shown in Table 8-6
