1 Subject content and scope of application

This standard specifies the precipitation titration method for the determination of the total cyanide content in acrylonitrile for industrial use

This standard applies to industrial acrylonitrile samples with a total cyanide content ( calculated as hydrocyanic acid ) greater than 0.
