    1 Scope

This standard specifies the use of gas chromatography to determine the content of dimer (4-vinylcyclohexene) in butadiene for industrial use

This standard applies to the determination of butadiene dimer in industrial butadiene with a content of not less than 5mg/kg

    2 Reference standards

The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through quotation in this standard

GB/T 3723-1983 General rules for the sampling safety of industrial chemical products (eqv ISO 3165:1976)

    GB/T 8170-1987 Numerical Rounding Rules

GB/T 9722-1988 Chemical Reagent Gas Chromatography General Rules

GB/T 13290-1991 Industrial Propylene and Butadiene Liquid Sampling Method

SH/T 0221-1992 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Density or Cabinet-to-Density Determination Method (Pressure Densitometer Method)

    3 Method summary

The liquid butadiene sample is injected into the chromatographic column.
