    1 Scope

    This standard specifies the use of gas chromatography to determine the content of trace hydrogen in industrial ethylene and propylene


    This standard is applicable to the determination of hydrogen content in industrial ethylene and propylene at a concentration of not less than 1mL/m 3 (packed column) or 2mL/m (capillary column)


    This standard is not intended to describe all safety issues related to its use.

    3 Method summary

    Under the conditions specified in this standard, the gas (or liquid after vaporization) sample is carried by the carrier gas into the chromatographic column through the sampling device

    Nitrogen , purity (volume fraction) ≥99.

    Ethylene; purity (volume fraction) is not less than 99.


    Ammonia: the purity (volume fraction) is not less than 99.


    Hydrogen: the purity (volume fraction) is not less than 99.

    The hydrogen standard sample can be purchased from the Shan market or prepared by yourself.
