Secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA) in saliva has been suggested to be a potential marker of chronic, long-term stress due tosuppression of the immune system. A rapid point-of-care testing platform for stress measurement based on immunoassay and capillaryelectrophoresis (CE) separation was developed using a poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) chip and a laboratory-built microchipCE system. A method for the quantitative determination of sIgA in human saliva is introduced.
