    Calculating the production of singlet oxygen during PDT and ABL is the key to determining the light dose for these two treatments .


    In order to analyze the kinetics of the photo-oxidative reaction in the phototherapy process and propose a simple and effective modeling method, Dong Jianfei's research group applied basic control theory to analyze the process, and obtained the linearization of the first-principles PDT model.


    First, the nonlinear first-principles PDT model is linearized at a series of equilibrium points on its trajectory, and a series of linear time-invariant ( LTI ) state-space ( SS ) models are obtained

    The main innovation of this study is the first application of control theory to analyze the kinetics of photochemical reactions in phototherapy, and the first mathematical model for phototherapy of fungal infections based on endogenous photosensitizers
