    Recently, Dong Wenfei's team from the Institute of Medical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences has developed a particle size - charge double-conversion nanoassembly triggered by near-infrared light for the combined light-controlled chemotherapy and immunotherapy of breast cancer


    In this study, the researchers assembled a new nano-drug carrier


    This light-driven charge - particle size double-conversion nanoassembly can carry drugs deep into the tumor and diffuse throughout the tissue, exerting the effect of light-controlled chemotherapy, and enhancing tumor immunogenicity


    The above work provides a novel platform for the safe and efficient comprehensive treatment of breast cancer


    The research was supported by the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province
