All the masters who have done floor construction know that no matter what kind of floor is built, the first step must be the base surface treatment

01 Purpose of base surface treatment

Remove floating dust, loose old paint film, oil stains, etc.

02 The way to deal with the base surface

On the surface of the base layer, such as the cement floor, the cement lump, sand and laitance (cement free alkaline crystals) left by the construction will be attached.

For industrial floors, it may be polluted by a variety of oil pollution.

The common processing methods are as follows:

For less oil on the surface, use a hard brush dipped in detergent or solvent to clean it several times;

Severely polluted floor, it is recommended to use gasoline or alcohol burning method to remove;

 Use a grinder to remove the contaminated concrete layer;

The floor treated by the above method still has oily ground.

 Three, the processing of flatness

The flatness requirements for a large area of ​​the floor are: 3 mm error (2 meters measurement section), 85% pass rate, and repairs where the flatness does not meet the requirements, use epoxy mortar or other suitable materials to correct Repair potholes and unevenness on the ground 1-3 times, or use a grinder or milling machine to repair the flatness of the ground

Fourth, the treatment of cutting seams

First cut the cutting seam into a V-shape, and clean the debris and gravel in the seam;

Fill the cutting seams with epoxy mortar;

 Polish both sides evenly;

Five, the treatment of structural seams 

First chisel off the loose parts on both sides of the joint into the following square shape, the purpose is to have a bearing surface under the repaired epoxy mortar part; remove debris and gravel in the joint;

After filling and protecting the middle with PE foam (divided into two sections), both sides are filled with epoxy mortar;

After the epoxy mortar is dried, remove the upper section of PE foam and fill it with elastic sealant;

Polish both sides evenly

Use mortar to fill up and repair the uneven ground to meet the ground leveling requirements;

To repair wide cracks and pits, it is best to use quick-drying solvent-free resin paint to repair quartz sand;

For expansion joints, first clean up the debris and gravel in the joint; then fill it with mortar or other suitable materials, and then grind and level it after drying.
First clean up the debris, and then coat the quartz with a quick-drying solvent-free resin.
Sand repair

For small cracks, first use a mill to cut into V-shaped grooves, and use quick-drying solvent-free mortar for grouting;

After curing, use sandpaper to smooth and clean the ground
