Dow and SCG to develop waste plastic recycling solution in Thailand

Specialty chemicals company Dow has signed a partnership agreement with SCG (Siam Cement Group) to build a complete recycling soluti.

Under the agreement, both companies will work to create a circular plastic economy in Thaila.

Dow said the partnership echoes the Thai government's vision to increase recycling rates of plastic waste by 202

Currently, Dow and SCG are members of the non-profit Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEP.

Jim Fitterling, CEO of Dow, said, "Our industry and society as a whole must do a better job of recycling plastics by expanding investments in waste plastic collection, management, recycling, and new end marke.
