    Midland, Mich., USA, 17 January 2017 - Dow Corning, a global leader in silicone, silicone-based technology and innovation, today introduced three new highly reflective silicone
    coatings
    , further enriching Dow Corning's rapidly growing portfolio of LED innovative solutions. These three products greatly enhance the design flexibility of LED packaging manufacturers, not only for chip size packaging (CSP), on-board chip packaging (COB) these high-tech LED design, but also provide a variety of processing solutions, from traditional dosing methods to new printing methods.
    these three new silicone coatings are WR-3001 mold edge coating, WR-3100 mold edge coating and WR-3120 reflective coating, all belong to the Dow Corning ® (Dao Corning ®) brand products.     Like other reflective materials in Dow Corning, the three coatings maintain high reflectivity at low thicknesses and their properties at sustained high temperatures of 150 degrees C, while many other organic coatings break and yellow at 150 degrees C. In order of low to high hardness, the three new products are:
    -WR-3001 mold edge coating: excellent photo-thermal stability, designed for high-power chip size packaging (CSP) applications, and suitable for traditional deponsing processes.
    .WR-3100 Mold Edge Coatings: Designed for chip size package (CSP) applications and low- and medium-power LED packaging, and for traditional despicable processes;
    -WR-3120 Reflective Coatings: The WR-3120 is the highest hardness and reflectivity of the three new products, and has high-gloss thermal stability products, suitable for high-power LED packaging applications and printing processes, to improve the performance of LED equipment.
