Sinochem News Network News on June 9th, Dow announced plans to establish an integrated methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) distillation and pretreatment facility at its world-class production base in Freeport, Texas, USA.

The new MDI plant will replace Dow’s current North American production capacity in La Porte, Texas, while also providing Dow’s customers with an additional 30% of its products

The new plant is expected to start in 2023, when Dow will shut down its polyurethane plant in La Porte
