    The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) has signed $19 million low-voltage cable order contracts with several cable manufacturers to supply the cables
    needed to expand their distribution network.

    These contracts include cable supply in different regions of Dubai to meet the continued growth
    in demand for electricity in various consumer sectors.

    "We are moving forward with our important development projects, particularly in terms of infrastructure, which will help improve the capacity, efficiency and reliability of the power distribution network, ensuring a continuous and stable power supply to our customers, thus achieving sustainable development in Dubai," said Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dewa

    The manufacture and supply of the low-voltage cables ordered under the contract is expected to be completed
    in September 2019.
