In 2021, accelerate the construction of Haohua's fluorine-containing electronic gas projects, and promote the completion and commissioning of Luoyang Petrochemical's styrene and crude oil commercial reserve base project (Phase II), and the operating income of the industrial park will reach 80 billion yuan; by 2023, construction will begin The mega-ton ethylene project, the second phase of the Liming Chemical Industry Research Institute and other projects will accelerate the construction of the Luoyang Petrochemical Jet Fuel Base project, and the industrial park’s operating income will reach 100 billion yuan; by 2025, promote the completion and commissioning of a number of major projects such as the mega-ton ethylene project.

The Luoyang Petrochemical Megaton Ethylene Project is a key project supported by Henan Province to support the construction and deployment of Luoyang's sub-central city.

Previously, according to industry reports, Luoyang Petrochemical’s million-ton ethylene project also included plans to construct 200,000 tons/year of high-density polyethylene, 600,000 tons/year of linear low-density polyethylene, 280,000 tons/year of ethylene glycol, and 350,000 tons of ethylene glycol.
