    On September 22-25, 2021, the 4th Global Aquaculture Conference jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China , the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the Asia Pacific Aquaculture Center Network will be held in Shanghai
    .
    With the theme of "Aquaculture for Food Supply and Sustainable Development", this conference summarized the achievements of global aquaculture development in the past ten years, analyzed the opportunities, problems and challenges of global aquaculture development, and proposed the development of aquaculture in the next ten years.

    More than 2,200 people from 120 countries, regions, economies and related international and regional organizations participated in the conference online, and 500 people attended the conference offline

    In his speech at the opening ceremony, FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu pointed out that aquaculture plays a pivotal role in meeting global food needs.
    “Leaving no one behind” means that every effort and action must pay attention to everyone around the world.
