Eastman Celebrates 75th Anniversary of Crystex™ Insoluble Sulfur Brand

The Eastman Crystex™ brand celebrates its 75th anniversary as the world's leading brand of insoluble sulfur, and the success of the brand is inseparable from a team that has always been focused on finding new breakthroughs in the tire and rubber industri.

The Crystex brand story began in 1944, when the Stauffer Chemical Company decided to patent its insoluble sulfur produ.

Crystex's name is derived from "No Crystals" and "Crystals-X", which literally describe the product's functionality and benefits for tire manufacture.

Later, the brand continued to develop, introducing products with high thermal stability grad.

Another milestone for the brand is the introduction of Crystex's improved dispersibility grades for its 50th anniversary, which provides processing advantages for rubber compounding without compromising key properti.
