From SeafoodNews on May 19, the Ecuadorian government stated that its shrimp products returned to the Thai market smoothly after fully complying with Thailand’s relevant food safety and biosafety protocols during the export proces.

As early as March 2021, Thailand suspended the purchase of shrimp products from Ecuad.
After promising that the quality, safety and traceability of exported products comply with Thai regulations, Ecuador has another opportunity to export to Thaila.

Today, the Ministry of Fisheries of Thailand has allowed the products of 36 Ecuadorian shrimp farming enterprises to enter Thaila.
In the future, Thailand will authorize more Ecuadorian processo.
