    and Fuzhou University 。 Cai Weilong, the main technology developer of the project and a researcher at the School of Petrochemical Technology of Fuzhou University, told reporters that the key technology of energy-saving high-throughput coated filter material combines polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin characteristics, biaxially oriented microporous membrane theory, substrate structure design innovation, high-temperature hot pressing film technology principle and other theories-technologies, mainly with three major innovation points: First, a new process for the production of three-dimensional stretched fibrillated PTFE microporous membrane has been developed, which solves the problem of uneven film thickness produced by the traditional biaxial stretching process.
    The air permeability of the membrane is greater than 220L/dm²·min; Second, the structure of the substrate based on "three-dimensional inter-embedding asymmetry" and the progressive needle punching process were developed, which solved the structural defects of the traditional coated substrate.
    The third is to develop a new high-temperature longitudinal tension medium pressure laminating process, which makes up for the defects of high temperature and high pressure laminating filter material process that is easy to stick to rolls and improves production efficiency

    Based on the above innovations, the achievement breaks through the bottleneck of the traditional coated filter material with a permeability of less than 50L/dm²·min, the energy-saving high-flux coated filter material eliminates the interface effect between the microporous membrane and the substrate, reduces the resistance by 40%, extends the ash cleaning cycle by more than 2 times, increases the filtration efficiency by an order of magnitude, solves the common technical problems of the industry with small flux and high resistance of the traditional coated filter material, and opens up the last hurdle
    of upgrading from "high-performance filter material" to "high-tech filter material" 。 This product has changed the status quo that the key technologies and products of China's high-throughput PTFE coated filter media are monopolized by foreign companies, solved the key technical problems in this field, and reduced the domestic dependence
    on imported high-end filter materials.

    According to Cai Weilong, coal-fired power plants, steel, cement, waste incineration power generation and other industrial fields, the demand for fine particulate matter dust removal in flue gas is very high, but at present, China is still relatively lacking in the development of high-flux PTFE coated filter materials in related fields, and related enterprises in the United States have developed low-resistance fifth-generation PTFE microporous membranes and low-resistance filter bag products

    In the field with relatively high requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction in the soot filtration link, at present, China's high-flux PTFE coated filter material basically relies on imports, and its price is often several times or even more than ten times that of domestic products, which restricts the development of
