According to the acceptance documents, the Jinmei Mingshui Mingshengda Tuicheng Jinyuan 40·60 project actually uses GE coal-water slurry gasification, isothermal transformation, Topsonic sulfur recovery (by-product sulfuric acid), low-temperature methanol elution sulfur decarbonization, Nanjing Guochang 15MPa low-pressure ammonia synthesis, improved carbon dioxide stripping urea technology, an annual output of 400,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 600,000 tons of urea, as well as hydrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, carbon monoxide, etc.
Compared with the EIA report, the main changes are as follows.
The water wall Tsinghua furnace was changed to GE coal water slurry gasification.
The three-stage sulfur-resistant transformation is changed to isothermal transformation technology.
Casali ammonia synthesis was changed to Nanjing Guochang Chemical Ammonia Synthesis.
Claus Sulfur Recovery is changed to Topsol Sulfur Recovery, which produces sulfuric acid as a by-product.
The urea plant no longer builds a large particle production line.
Project in 2016 Nian 2 started construction.
The construction was completed in June 2020 , and commissioning and operation began in July of the same year .
