According to Sinochem News, this year, due to the soaring natural gas prices, many manufacturers have reduced the production of synthetic ammonia, and about 10-15 synthetic ammonia plants have stopped production or reduced production

According to the latest ammonia market report by Fertecon, an agricultural enterprise intelligence unit under IHS Markit, the ammonia price has stabilized at US$700/ton FOB as of the week of October 15

Prior to this, Yara International stated in mid-September that it would reduce Europe’s ammonia production by 40%; CF Industries also shut down its ammonia plants in Bilingham and Inc in the United Kingdom in mid-September; BASF confirmed at the end of September that it had reduced its production in Antwerp, Belgium.
