ExxonMobil, the largest listed oil company in the United States, and the U.
S.
crude oil pipeline operator Plains Pipeline Co.
(PAA) recently signed a letter of intent to jointly lay a public transportation pipeline to transport 1 million barrels of crude oil and condensate per day from multiple locations in the Permian Basin to the Gulf Coast
of Texas.
The new pipeline will have loading points in Wink and Midland, Texas, as well as delivery points
in Webster, Baytown and Beaumont.
To limit potential community and environmental damage, the companies said they will use existing pipeline corridors
where possible.
