ExxonMobil and Total to take part in massive Qatar LNG expansion project

　　SEOUL, June 7 (Reuters) - Companies including Exxon Mobil Corp and Total Energy Corp will take part in the expansion of the world's largest liquefied natural gas project in Qatar, sources told Reuters on Tuesday

　　ExxonMobil, Total, Shell and ConocoPhillips are part of Qatar's existing LNG production, joined by Chevron and Italy's Eni in bidding for the expansion in May 2021
.

　　The $30 billion expansion of the North oil and gas field will boost Qatar’s LNG production by 64% to 126 million tons per year by 2027, strengthening its position as the world’s largest exporter of ultra-cold fuel and helping secure long-term shipments to Europe.
