Silicon Valley tech giant Facebook is determined to make its energy-hungry data centers greener

This Tuesday, the company announced that it "will achieve powering
its operations with 100% renewable energy by the end of 2020.

At the same time, it has publicly committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 75%
in the same period of time in 2017 as a base year.
