To evaluate whether edible vegetable oil meets national health standards, the commonly used physical and chemical indicators are acid value and peroxide value
[Detection principle]
The acid value refers to the content of free fatty acids in vegetable oils
The rapid test card for acid value of edible oil (hereinafter referred to as the rapid test card) adopts the method of comparing the color development of paper and the standard color plate for daily visual quantification
[Reagent]
Acid value rapid test card: sealed package, 4~10℃ dry storage
[Operation method] Take an appropriate amount of oil sample in a clean, dry container; insert the end of the medicated test paper into the oil sample for 1 to 2 seconds, take it out immediately and start timing; the reaction time of the acid value test paper is (90±5)s, When the timing reaches the required response time, compare the color of the test paper with the colorimetric plate on the packaging box
[Result judgment]
The test range of acid value paper is 0~5.
For the samples whose acid value exceeds the national regulations on site monitoring (see Table 3-1), they should be sent to the laboratory for precise quantification
