    The refining and chemical industry can solve problems from four aspects

    At the same time, since entering the "14th Five-Year Plan", the refining and chemical industry has faced a series of unprecedented challenges


    Facing the complex situation of world energy, President Li Shousheng said that the problem can be solved from four aspects:

    ●Use new energy technology development to seize the new advantages of new energy development in the future;

    ●Adapt to changes in market demand with a new refining and chemical integration process;

    ●Use green and low-carbon technology and process innovation to create a new way of low-carbon emission;

    ●And use intelligent technology to comprehensively enhance the new realm of traditional energy development

    Refining and chemical technology innovation should focus on several major directions

    Xie Zaiku, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said that the basic paths for reducing carbon emissions in the modern energy system are: optimal utilization of fossil energy, large-scale utilization of renewable energy and hydrogen energy, and CO2 treatment and carbon-negative technology


    ●Molecular oil refining: Heavy oil processing, oil conversion, and high-value refining technologies will promote the sustainable development of oil refining

    ●Low-carbon chemical industry: breakthroughs in new reactions and new processes will bring about changes in petrochemicals

    ●High-end materials: high-performance development of synthetic materials, with more prominent properties such as high added value and degradability

    ●Energy-saving process: breakthroughs in energy-saving and consumption-reducing separation materials and processes, helping carbon reach peak carbon neutrality

    ●Recycling chemical industry: Recycling technology will promote waste reduction, recycling and harmlessness

    ●CO2 technology: will play an important role in achieving carbon neutrality

    ●Amino industry: amino industry and hydrogen energy are the only way for green development

    ●Renewable energy: biomass refining, photovoltaics, etc.


    ●Artificial intelligence: will promote the realization of intelligent manufacturing in oil refining and petrochemical industry
