According to British media reports recently, the British National Health Service (NHS) launched a revolutionary 3D scanning technology "HeartFlow" last month.
According to a report on the Sky TV website on the 4th, "heart flow" can convert a CT scan of the heart into a 3D image, allowing doctors to diagnose whether the patient's heart is diseased without invasive examinations such as angiography, and give the result within 20 minutes.
Matt Whitty, Director of the NHS Innovation and Life Sciences Department, said: "The'flow' has achieved'great success' in clinical trials and will help tens of thousands of people receive rapid diagnosis and treatment every year, ultimately saving their lives.
NHS Medical Director Stephen Boyce said: “NHS has always been committed to improving the treatment of stroke, heart attack and other major diseases, reducing mortality, and ensuring that patients can benefit from cutting-edge treatments and technology.
Sandwell and Dr.
Sir Nilesh Samani, medical director of the British Heart Foundation, said that this technology can “prevent patients from being hospitalized unnecessarily for angiography, and quickly provide information so that patients can receive the best treatment plan, so that both the patient and the NHS can learn from it.
