China Petrochemical News Network reported on April 6, Hejia 204H well in the Heba area successfully applied foam cement slurry cementing technology for oil layer casing cementing construction.
The Hejia 204H well is a horizontal development well deployed by the Southwest Petroleum Bureau of Sinopec.
Under the fine management of the competent department of Sinopec Southwest Petroleum Bureau, the Bureau’s Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute jointly manages and implements the application demonstration of foam cement slurry cementing technology, and adjusts the cementing technology in time based on the actual drilling situation of the well.
The successful application of the foam cement slurry cementing technology effectively reduces the risk of cementing loss in the leaky formations of the Southwest Work Area, and has important guiding significance for solving similar complex problems in the later stage of the work area and improving the quality of cementing.
