The French energy giant Engie has booked the remaining capacity of the Eemshaven liquefied natural gas terminal, which belongs to Gasunie subsidiary EemsEnergyTerminal, according to World Natural Gas news on August 1
EemsEnergyTerminal sold the remaining capacity of the Eemshaven LNG terminal to Engie, which purchased the last 1 billion cubic meters
The first remaining LNG sold through the terminal will be delivered as early as mid-September
With these new capacities added to its existing LNG portfolio, Engie hopes to strengthen its energy diversification strategy and increase its ability to supply LNG to Europe
