    Introduction

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a recurrent inflammatory disease characterized by uncontrollable inflammation of the intestinal mucosa

Traditional IBD treatments include 5-aminosalicylic acid (5-ASA), corticosteroids (CS), Janus kinase inhibitors, anti-tumor necrosis factor-α (anti-TNF-α), antibodies, and surgery

Resveratrol and its derivatives have antioxidant, anti-tumor and anti-inflammatory functions.

TLR 2/4-mediated signaling pathwayTLRs are a class of receptors widely found in macrophages and neutrophils

Resveratrol and its metabolites are potential therapeutic agents for IBD

Resveratrol and its derivates improve inflammatory bowel disease by targeting gut microbiota and inflammatory signaling pathways
