Since 2015 , in order to meet the development needs of the petrochemical industry, one of the three leading industries in Fujian under the new situation, Fujian Petrochemical Group has initiated the overall relocation of the chlor-alkali area.

The carbon five carbon nine project will be divided into two phases to build a 330,000 tons / year carbon five separation device, a 200,000 tons / year carbon nine separation device, and a downstream deep processing device.
The project adopts the most advanced technology in China.
After completion, it will fully integrate the C5C9 raw material resources in Fujian Province, making Gulei a C5C9 deep processing industrial base with complete varieties and complete upstream and downstream industrial chains.
