    , a related company of the Tamura West Industrial Park in Miharu Town, Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, signed a basic agreement with the prefecture and town to conduct
    the Miharu Exchange Hall Mahora in the town.

    Sumitomo Electric Hard Metals, a new company established on January 1 through a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Electric to produce cutting tools, has developed
    Tohoku Sumitomiden Precision.
    Construction is scheduled to start in November 29 and become a production base
    for hard metal companies in the Tohoku region.

    The new company workshop is about 2.
    3 hectares of land, the construction and steel construction basement workshop (construction area of about 5,805 square meters) and tool engineering center (1,793 square meters).

    Sumitomo Electric said that it will use
    multi-bit drilling rigs and steel tools for production in automobiles, aviation aircraft, industrial machinery, steel, electrical and electronic equipment, and other fields.
