Russia's Gazprom could resume Turkmenistan gas imports in 2019 from Turkmenistan, which was halted three years ago, the head of the energy giant said
during a visit to the Turkmen capital for talks on Tuesday, Turkey reported by Agence France-Presse on October 9.

Gazprom's chief executive, Alexei Miller, said in an interview with Turkmenistan state television that he expects to resume purchases over price disputes early next year

"We are talking about Gazprom's resumption of purchases of Turkmen gas in the near future from Jan.
1, 2019," Miller said, stressing that details of the new agreement have not yet been finalized
