GE confirmed the supply of 220 MW of central inverters
to the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum solar power plant at the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
The project, which is expected to expand to 5GW by 2030, has drawn attention
to Dubai's solar industry.

The third tender is 800MW, for which GE will supply the LV5 series central inverter, which is specifically designed for performance in harsh desert conditions

GE has arranged shipments of central inverters with Spain's EPC TSK, and is expected to arrange shipments
this summer.
The LV5 series drives are liquid cooled and can be used in the harshest outdoor conditions

"TSK's trust in our utility-scale project technology strengthens the industry's trust

In the coming years, the company is focusing on the solar potential
of the Middle East.
