Sinochem News, according to World Natural Gas News on August 24, the German government has announced that it will raise funds for the construction and operation of a power conversion liquid (PtL) fuel development platform
    .

The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) is investing in the PtL development platform as part of the Ministry’s overall funding concept for renewable fuels
    .

According to the plan, BMVI will invest a total of 1.
    54 billion euros ($1.
8 billion) in renewable fuels between 2021 and 2024
    .

From now on, the project proposal for the construction and operation of a power liquid fuel development platform with an annual output of 10,000 tons of PtL can be submitted to BMVI
    .

Federal Minister Andreas Scheuer said: “By switching to power fuels, we can reduce millions of tons of carbon dioxide emissions
    .

However, to do this, by 2030 we will need a large amount of climate-neutral fuel-especially for aircraft and ships.

"In order to get electricity-based fuels out of the laboratory and put into mass production, we are promoting the world's largest production facility
    .

In the next few years, we will invest more than 1.

As explained, the platform is designed to serve research and demonstration purposes to close the gap between the development of PtL fuel and the growth of the industrial market
    .

The focus will be shipping and aviation
