The next-generation battery will offer higher energy density, smaller packages and faster charging capabilities, primarily for the North American market

Under the agreement, the two companies will collaborate based on GM's next-generation battery system, which aims to allow Honda to source battery modules
from GM.
The cooperation will support the independent models
of the two companies.
Combined scale and global manufacturing efficiency will ultimately deliver greater value
to customers.
